When You Can’t Find the Light…

you are not alone in this world. maybe sometimes your journey feels dark, and there is a lack of light, both around and within you, but you are still not alone. along your path you can experience encounters with others or circumstances surround you that don't share the same tools that you have in your toolbox, maybe because of their own darkness and internal struggles, they lack the emotional wherewithall to cope - leaving you feeling drained, empty, worthless, completely depleted and without a voice, but, you still are not alone. that's when the universe conspires to send you people who have the light and strength within them when you don't. maybe its just a small amount of light that gets in at first, but that is all it takes, to eventually crack open a light so bright its eternally burning. so sure, you can give up, but, wouldn't you rather find your voice and scream loudly so that years from now when someone else is in a dark place, needing light, they hear your voice? i know i would...
